Federal Court of Australia - Canberra Registry

The Federal Court's jurisdiction is broad, covering almost all civil matters arising under Australian federal law and some criminal matters. The Court exercises general appellate jurisdiction in criminal and civil matters on appeal from the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and the Supreme Court of Norfolk Island. It also hears appeals from the Federal Magistrates Court in non-family law matters.
